Our approach

We are a clinic of occupational therapists using evidence based interventions to develop and optimize your child’s ability to participate in meaningful and valuable life activities.

One area your child may struggle in is his or her “occupation,” or the daily activities he or she is expected to participate in. Some examples of common occupations that children participate in are playing, socializing with others, attending school, and completing self-help activities such as feeding themselves or brushing their teeth.

Children’s Developmental & Occupational Therapy Services strives to help children in the Chicago suburban area strengthen their developmental skills through the use of occupational therapy. We believe in giving every child a chance to learn and grow and master the skills that can support their increased independence in their daily occupations.
